Good day to you! Here’s a post that I just had to do about World of Warcraft: Forever and some just absolutely epic clips I’ve been seeing on social media. Hopefully you already know a little bit about World of Warcraft. It’s a massive, multiplayer, online game. You pick your character, you go online and you have adventures. That’s pretty much it in a nutshell.
Hold on. I’ll ask Grok to explain: World of Warcraft: Forever is Blizzard’s permanent “Classic+” version of World of Warcraft. It launched in concept at BlizzCon 2026 (September 12) and is scheduled for full release on November 4, 2026. Access comes with a normal WoW subscription; optional paid packs unlock the new race and extras.

It uses the original 2004 vanilla setting and systems—Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor, level cap of 60, no flying—but it is not a recreation of 2004. It exists in its own continuity, set in the first year of WoW (after the events of Warcraft III Reforged: Forsaken Kingdom and before Molten Core). Blizzard will keep adding new zones, quests, dungeons, and raids inside that level 1–60 world instead of raising the cap or leaving the original continents.
There you go. So, long story short. WOW is back and in a big way. Right now, the BETA test is going on and there’s a lot of people already playing. The things that we’re witnessing are just blowing me away, so I wanted to share. Here we go.

Years ago I was warned off of World of Warcraft. The warning was this: It’s the crack cocaine of gaming. Once you start? You’re in. Now, after all this time and from what I’m seeing? I’m thinking I may have to jump in and start playing. World of Warcraft: Forever opens November 4th.
