Count me in on the Madden movie. Yes, the cast is great and the director is fantastic and all that good stuff. What makes this movie different is in the title: Madden. John Madden. If you’re of a certain age, you grew up with John Madden on the field as a coach and then as a CBS sports analyst. That’s where we all got a better sense of John Madden’s loveable insanity. You couldn’t help but like the guy. Would he say odd things? Sometimes. Did those odd things make sense? Yup. The guy was living in his own world and it was awesome.

It looks as though the Madden movie captures that loveable wackiness in a great way. The trailer sure knocked it out of the park. Madden gets released on November 18th. It will be on Amazon Prime. If there are commercials? I’m out.
