The idea, as far as I can tell, is that you have a plane come zipping by and it reminds everyone of who rules the skies. That’s the typical flyover. They’re pretty awesome. Well, kids, we may have just witnessed one of the best flyovers ever.

This is President Trump and Chinese President Xi on the tarmac right after Xi landed on US soil. The band is playing and someone thought a flyover was in order. That someone was right and reaction was fantastic.

I’m not sure that I could love this more. It’s fantastic.

It’s all an intimidation game. Trump knows it. Xi knows it. He seemed kind of sadly resigned by the way. But President Trump’s squint? Perfect. It brings a reality to the situation. Those planes mean business. And those are ours. And as China is having their little visit, we’re all talking about the flyover. It’s glorious.

And we as a nation, not only get the security, but we also get a very funny meme. Winning!
