Here’s a strange mix for you. It’ some videos that I can’t seem to stop watching. Welcome to the world of Star Wars lo-fi hip hop. We’ve got some stuff that you’ll want to at least see. Maybe you’ll find yourself humming along to the chorus of “Mace Windu fell out of a Window” like me. I don’t know. But all of these creations are worth talking about.

*Before we go any further, let’s make sure the YouTube Channel ‘AI Ruins Everything’ get’s the credit for putting “Mace Windu fell out of a window”. That the one that caught my attention first. That hook on the chorus? Come on now*

First of all, I think the Star Wars universe lends itself to AI videos just by the very nature that it’s already Sci-Fi and your mind has no problem with strange visual and creatures. That being said. The visuals in these music videos are crazy good. Cinematically. The AI is just getting better and better. Also note how all the characters look like the same people in each edit. In the past, AI had a problem maintain the look of a person from shot to shot. Yes, you would have say, Elvis in a video, but after each cut Elvis would look very different. All the characters in these videos seem to maintain their integrity.

So, buckle up. The world of AI movies and music seems to have made another big step forward. It’s concerning. But hey, at least it’s entertaining at this point. Star Wars lo-fi hip hop is the new high-water mark for AI.

Some call it slop. That always feels harsh to me. But if this is slop? What’s the good stuff going to look and sound like? Star Wars AI slop is the best slop so far.
