Big win for Bolsonaro and Brazil in Election round one. More fallout from the cuts to USAID?

Brazil had big shift politically last night. Flavio Bolsonaro had a huge showing in round one the Brazilian election. Now, I couldn’t help but notice that ever since the big cuts to USAID, the conservative parties have been having a lot of success in elections. Is this all a coincidence? I doubt it. However, there’s a lot to be said for socialism doing its usual thing: Making the socialist bureaucrats rich while the people suffer more and more. That doesn’t seem like it would stay popular too long.

Let’s take a look at the fallout from round one of the elections in Brazil and the possible role of USAID. Or the lack of it, really.

Hey! Look at this!

Oh, Lula threw his country’s flag on the ground. That probably didn’t help him much.

Interesting. Who DOES audit the ballots?

Freedom advances… let’s hope so.

Now we wait and see what happens in Brazil in the runoff on October 25th. It should be interesting to say the least.
