Sunday Jams are blowing in with the Allman Brothers.

Good day to you all! It’s been quite the weekend so far. Lots of travel for yours truly and a lot of concern for our friends down south who were dealing with a hurricane. I sincerely hope you’re all safe and sound. Also hope you’re ready for a killer Sunday Jams with the Allman Brothers. This is the sweet, smooth southern stylings that always make a Sunday a little better. Here’s three classics from the Allman Brothers on this week’s Sunday Jams.

(PS. I grew up with this stuff. My oldest brother has great taste in music. He had all these albums. I think I’m just now getting the joke of the giant peach in the truck. I think that’s a sweet Georgia peach of a booty that’s SO big it needs a truck. That’s a big ass peach! And I just now got the joke. Ha!)

How great is this opening to this first song? Come on. That’s gorgeous. Just so damn good!

Oh yeah, we’re going to be playing this over and over again. Those harmonies! Sit all the way back and listen!

Michael,my music brother from another mother. Anytime The Allman Brothers are featured on Sunday Jams,it’s a great day. The amazing guitar work of Duane Allman and Dickey Betts along with Gregg Allman’s soulful vocals set them apart from most Southern rock groups. I would have given anything to see Duane play slide guitar in person.Thank goodness for Youtube. What a spectacular choice of songs you lined up. If they don’t make your Sunday, nothing will. A fantastic choice for Sunday Jams. Thanks Michael!
P.S. I know you’re an art person like me. There is a guy ,Jeffrey Adam Meszaros, a former bartender in Canada who saved discarded bottlecaps for 18 yrs. He has collected over a million bottle caps which he flattens, sorts and uses to make the most amazing mosaics of musicians like David Bowie, Tom Petty and one of his most recent ,Burton Cummings. He has a 3 min video of him meeting and presenting Burton with his creation during The Guess Who’s tour. Even Randy Bachman came out to see it. The name of his studio is JAM Bottle Cap Art. It’s really something to see.
