We have to talk about Elon Musk and the new Tesla Roadster. We got flying cars! This is wild! It’s insane. Sure, it’s kind of a brag, but it’s a great brag! It’s a flying car that lands with rockets! What in world?! Here’s writer, comedian and part-time guitarist Michael Loftus just busting with excitement of this huge leap forward. This is what you get when put your mind to something and you’re in a system that let’s you flourish. Let’s go! We got flying cars!

People have been wondering for many years if we’re going to get The Road Warrior or The Jetsons for our future. Tesla gifted the world a true and wonderful surprise. Those who berate and belittle Elon’s accomplishment, calling it an AI fake or a cheap stunt, are those who, if not simply possessed by an ignorant, self-torturing jealousy, don’t believe that betterment is possible through the human factors and forces of merit and excellence, nor have they asked for Wisdom (always free). ‘Hard work’ was not mentioned here because (oops!). Humans know the price of everything, but too few know the worth of things that really matter. Apologies for the small rant there but humans have got to do better as a whole. Elon’s leadership has shown over and over that a thing can be done. If nothing else, the flying car demo serves to foment development of concepts that will integrate diverse products in unexpected ways, and that the ultimate value will be found in the realms of exploration. If it becomes a consumer item, then we can line up at the FAA for pilots licenses.
Dig it! There’s gonna be a flood of personal flying vehicles in the near future. Loads of drone cars and drone taxis. Gonna be wild! I love what Elon is doing too. It’s fantastic.
