An excellent podcast. Great “Mc Clintock” reference. The best line of the movie. You didn’t sound like a rambling crazy person. You sounded like someone ,like me,who is wrestling with the actuality that true evil like this exists in the world. You can’t help but grapple with it morally and spiritually and not be shaken to your core. The fact that our government and it’s agencies aren’t taking this barbarity and devaluation of human life seriously enough ,makes me question everything about who’s is actually controlling things in our country and around the world. There is no going back. The curtains are being pulled wide open exposing this evil darkness but we have to make sure it stays that way or where do we go as a society without true justice.
After all of that,I needed your emotional support guitar more than ever. Your Captain and Tennille song brought me out of my funk and brightened my day. I was not a fan in my younger years being a die hard rocker. Loved your Al Green picks for Friday Night Bangers. He was on heavy rotation in our house growing up. Love him! The worlds of music, comedy, art and a good mix of politics and shenanigans is my happy place and that’s why I love this website and all the fantastic people who contribute to it. I feel like I’ve found a home and I am grateful for it. Thanks Michael!
