Loved the podcast. I’m enjoying the new theme song. The whole burrito conversation about affordability took on a life of it’s own and it was something else.After reading at your article and seeing other posts it hit me. WE ARE BEING PRICED OUT OF NORMAL. I don’t think it’s crazy to say it. How can you not question it? The things that used be affordable for most folks are gone. Fast food is now a luxury if your paying $13.00 for a meal at Burger King. But it has crept into everything. Taxes,insurance, home repairs, etc. There’s little to no breathing room left and no one in DC wants to do anything about it except say eat some Ramen or tax the billionaires. Another executive order this time on vaccines was warranted ,but once again nothing signed into law. Rinse and repeat. Fauci’s texts about the COVID vaccine and first trimester pregnancy made me hate him even more. Thank goodness you had some great tunes and Snoopy’s birthday to get me out of my grumpy mood after all of the DC shenanigans. Always look forward to the podcast for some great topics and entertainment to keep me in a good mood and make me laugh. Thanks Michael!
I agree! That’s a great way to put it too. We are being priced out of normal. Whatever shift we have made, we need to shift back. Something has gone horribly wrong. The cost of living is insane. When I saw that a big mac was 75 cents in 1975 I about flipped my lid. Glad you’re digging the show. It’s legit the only place I can really cut loose. Beyond a comedy club.
