Exclusive sit down with long-time CNN watcher, Karen de Lirium, and her thoughts on CNN and Covid.
TLP: First of all, thank you for taking the time to sit down with The Loftus Party today. As you can see by the headlines this week, the Covid outbreak is worse than it has been since the last time it was the worst it’s ever been. How are you holding up?

KdL: Not well. Thank you for asking. I think I have Covid (gesturing to a red spot on her left elbow). This will be the seventh time this month.
TLP: So when did you decide to get your Covid exclusively from CNN?
KdL: It wasn’t an easy decision for me, but their “This is an Apple” slogan really convinced me that they were the real deal. I mean last year we had that p***y-grabbing, liar, criminal-murderer Trump. Only CNN had the gut to tell the truth about him and his deliberate attempt to blame the virus on the Chinese while he personally executed 600,000 people!
TLP: So when CNN asserted that chloroquine would likely not be effective in treating Covid, you agreed?
KdL: Oh, yes! I mean, I don’t know who Experts Say is, but he tells me exactly what I need to know.
TLP: So where do you come down on the mask vs. vax question currently being debated?
KdL: Oh, I’m for it.
TLP: Which part?
KdL: …
TLP: …
KdL: Oh, you think you can pick and choose how to keep children safe. When they said to wear a mask, I wore a mask, when they said double-masking was even better, I did three just to be considerate and show the world that I care–well except for the Trumpist non-maskers. I hope they die. When the vaccine came out, I was the first in line.
TLP: Speaking of, which vaccine did you take?
KdL: Well, NOT Johnson & Johnson, let me tell you. I already have blood clots (rubs her temples). But I did take the other two (Moderna and Pfizer).
TLP: You know you only need one vaccine but it’s administered in two shots?
KdL: Oh, yeah, I know. I took them all just to be considerate and show the world that I care. Well, except for the Trumpist anti-vaxxers. I hope they die.
TLP: Wrapping up, how do you feel about the latest news from CNN and others that essentially says even if you have been vaccinated, the new variants can still break through and infect others, and that masks may soon be necessary again?
KdL: Is there a question there? Of course you should still mask up. I was hoping to be able to go outside again but they tell me it’s unsafe as long as Faux News continues to falsely tell people to calm down. Now, if you’ll excuse me, Chris Cuomo is about to interview Andrew Cuomo. I can’t wait to hear well my governor is doing!
