According to a report in The New York Post 26 firehouses in NY are out of service due to the vaccine mandate staff shortage.

Now I don’t care who you are, this ain’t good. Someone is going to need first responders. There will be an emergency. No one will show up or they will arrive too late to be effective. Is this what we want? People to die waiting for help? It’s absolute madness.
Somehow first responders were able to function before the vaccine. How about we forget the mandate and get back to actually helping people.
