Because it leaves you hungry.

As one of the best sci fi series of the last decade with a loyal following, the sixth and final season of The Expanse has set some high expectations.

Unfortunately, it was decided to keep the series finale down to six episodes. The reason being that there was a limited budget (thanks Amazon Prime!) and the show runners decided to use that budget to make the remaining episodes the best they could.

Honorable. And I think they did the best they could. Sadly, at least three storylines are left hanging, some continuity is lost (Wake the Elders? WTH?) and some dramatic conclusions felt rushed.

There’s promise though. There are hints that another channel/content provider could pick the series up. I’m not a follower of the book series, but the video below says the best story is yet to be told.
