Taking me back three decades to the times when I used to ask friends, “did you see Saturday Night Live last night”, is this absolutely brilliant skit.
It doesn’t take a side nor it doesn’t mock any position, much to the chagrin of Twitter liberals. But what it does do is show us, in hilarious fashion, how we had to tiptoe with friends and families when discussing the heavily politicized and hysterical COVID situation.
The other thing that it accomplishes is allowing us to say that the Emperor has no clothes. There are a couple of lines in this where they point out some inconsistencies and absurdities that we couldn’t bring up unless we wanted to fight.
