It’s deja vu all over again. A trailer for a Star Wars series from Disney. This time it’s Andor. Yes, I’ll be the first to admit it, the trailer looks good. To be honest though, we’re just happy to see a planet other than Tatooine. Sweet lord. Disney finally ponied up for a set other than main street Mos Eisley. So, we get to see a series that shows us the beginning of the rebellion with most of the gang from Rogue One returning. That’s what Disney is selling anyway. Is anyone excited though? How many times have Star Wars fans been stoked about a cool looking trailer only to get burned with a shit show? How about EVERY TIME. Mandalorian isn’t that good kids. Sorry. You know I’m right. Bobo Fett was an absolute joke, and the ultimate insult was Reva Wan Kenobi. That one hurt the most. The destruction of timelines and characters put me over the edge. As a long time, Star Wars fans, I legit want these shows to be great! I can overlook a ton of flaws. But I’ve had enough of Disney’s bait and switch with Star Wars. Great trailer… shitty show. Nope. No more. Good luck, Andor. You’ll need it. The horrible reality that no one at Disney understands Star Wars sets in (again) on Sept. 21 when Andor premieres.
