Here’s a look at the trailer for the Mandalorian season 3 from Disney Star Wars. Guess what? It looks good. Now if you have a couple seconds, I’ll tell you why this show works. Not that it’s great, but it’s certainly the only stand out show from the brain trust at Disney. Here’s why: No one knows what’s going to happen. These are new characters going on their own adventures. It’s that simple. Disney keeps either giving us shows where we know what ultimately happens like Obi Wan (hint: Darth Vader and Reva don’t kill him on Tatooine) or Andor (Hint: The lead is all good until the events of Rogue One) or they give us emasculated versions of tough guys like Boba Fett. They did that dude dirty. So, for now at least we have the Mandalorian. A tough guy who now finds himself as a new dad. Classic. Here’s hoping they don’t make him an idiot and we get to go on tons of adventures with new characters to new places.
