Being someone who was 100% turned off by the hijacking of my life-long beloved franchise for ham-handed and cringe worthy social justice messaging, I was cautiously optimistic to see a couple of non-woke voices speak approvingly of the third season.

With the Alex Kurtzman, who didn’t really care for Star Trek and used the IP to poke Trek fandom in the eye gone, season three is now free to do what it does best – tell compelling sci-fi stories.

Well, when The Critical Drinker and crew speak so highly of it, it deserves a serious reconsidering.

This encouraging view is seconded by respected YouTube commentator, Dave Cullen.
