Jaguar decided they don’t need you. The ‘message’ is loud and clear.

The luxury car maker Jaguar has unveiled a new logo and ad campaign. The message is quite clear: They don’t need you. That must have been the analysis of their marketing people. Jaguar doesn’t care about the people who aren’t buying their cars. So, Jaguar has gone full Hunger Games. I’m not sure if they are aware of the message they just sent. There’s actually a lot going on here and it’s not good. Here’s the new ad from Jaguar. We’ll discuss after you see it.

So, there it is. Really a yawn in terms of ads, but here I am writing about it, so in a sense it kind of ‘worked’. Again: Yawn. Yes, we’re all saying the word ‘Jaguar’ but nobody is talking about the car. Let’s talk about what the ad means.

The new ad for Jaguar means this: The Woke agenda isn’t going away anytime soon. Jaguar sells to the rich. They know that. Jaguar knows their customers. They also know how to do math. They’ve done the calculations and give zero shits about the opinions of the working class. Jaguar is catering to a rich, woke market. They are banking on it. That, to me is the telling part. The ‘elite’ people are woke. The rich are woke. The class of people who think they know more than you have a woke lifestyle and will embrace woke jaguar. That’s the math they did. Again: It screams Hunger Games. Ha!

Jaguar knows who they market to. Wealthy people who live in a fantasy land. They can afford whatever belief system they want. Until they feel the cold hand of reality on their shoulders, they won’t stop. Disney is still making woke content. Bud Light is still in business. All the wokeness still continues. Public opinion and short-term financial losses mean nothing. Until a giant company like Disney is brought to their knees, the woke will continue. Just saying. Don’t believe me? Take a look at Jaguar. They just screamed it at you.

Building cars certainly isn’t one of their superpowers.
