Thank goodness for attention whores who lack self-awareness. We were a little light on memes this week until ex-FBI head, James Comey shelled himself into hot water. You see, he loves posting Instagram deep thoughts and anti-Trump slams. And late this week, he might have gotten too edgy for his own good.
Here, check out the now deleted post. He “came across” some shells on a beach walk that say “8647”. In jargon, “86” means that means “get rid of / throw out” and Donald Trump (47th President)”. Some took it as a death threat and outrage spread rapidly.
Shell messages seems to be a thing with Comey.
Now talk about a topic ripe for meming! The memers did not disappoint.
And, as usual, things quickly became increasingly absurd.
In other news, Bruce Springsteen, showing his down-to-earth working man credentials, bashed Trump in Europe to show he wasn’t “one of those awful Americans”.
The Boss is kind of a Wuss.
