New EBU Broadcast Guidelines for Women’s sports shine a light on much deeper issue: Hobbyless Behavior

There are a new set of guidelines in sports broadcasting in Europe. Here’s what Grok said about the move: Released July 14th, the “Raising the Bar” document, direct broadcasters to avoid camera angles and slow-motion replays that sexualize female athletes by focusing on bodies rather than performance.

Got it? That’s what the powers that be are saying. Of course, that’s what they tell you in the document, but it seems as if there’s really something else going on here: Someone is jealous. That’s what this is really about. Good old-fashioned jealousy. Wrapped up in light coating of “I’m smarter than most people and I can’t believe you’re not offended.” It’s comical. So, comical in fact that (once again) a comedy show predicted a move like this.

You know who really doesn’t like fit, athletes? Ugly, fat people. People with low self-esteem. You know who has plenty of self-esteem? Fit, athletes. They have confidence and better things to do with their time. They have full and busy lives.

These guidelines are the result of sad, lonely people who just want to virtue signal their way into the spotlight. And when I say ‘sad’, I mean it. It’s momentarily depressing to think about the poor soul who championed this. And to them I would say this: Get to the gym. Get a hobby. Build model cars, I don’t care. But do something else with your time. You’re concern over camera angles at a sporting event are a classic example of hobby-less behavior. You are boring.

Hobbyless behavior is a slang insult—popularized by the translation of the German phrase hobbyloses Verhalten—used to describe someone who spends their free time engaging in petty, destructive, or pointless activities. It suggests that if a person had personal passions or interests to occupy their energy, they wouldn’t waste time causing drama.

Big shout out to the Germans for starting this perfectly fine insult. It’s socially acceptable to say and hits the nail right on the head. In America, we would say things like “Get a life” but hobbyless behavior is really strong. And speaking of really strong: How about these athletes? Take a look!

This is a post of defiance. Some people just don’t like beauty. They don’t want to see fit, attractive, women in sports, movies or video games. It’s a wild trend, started by lonely sad people who need to get over their hobbyless behavior.

And remember: The same people who are complaining about camera angles in women’s sports are demanding that children are able to attend drag shows. They don’t have a problem with kid putting a dollar bill in trans strippers, G-string, but a beautiful woman on camera? That’s where thses boring and predictable losers draw the line.
