This might be one of the few good decisions Disney has made for the franchise. Give several top anime studios an opportunity to cut loose in the Star Wars universe. Of course, we use the term “cut loose” extremely loosely, but you get the point. Anime Star Wars! Hell, to the yeah!

Here’s a little look at what they have planned for this very promising project. It premieres on September 22 on Disney+.
