Here’s what you need to know about Splatoon 3

Splatoon 3 is, as the name implies, the third game in the Splatoon franchise. Originally launched for the Wii U, Splatoon has since ballooned into a massive bi yearly franchise. This newest game appears to offer the most Splatoon yet; with a much larger Hub space, more complex visual vistas, new game modes, settings, and a whole lot more. Splatoon fans are eating good this year.

Nintendo’s own 30 minute long Direct, containing a hoard of new information about Splatoon 3.

The game’s core is the same things fans the world over are comfortable with; compete in 4v4 territory claiming ink-based combat to earn experience and Money. Money is used to purchase clothes & guns that are then levelled up by using them in game. Some shiny new features include a 4v4v4 mode only available during splatfests (Monthly in game competitions in which the community rallies against itself), A Halo-esque Theater mode, which allows the viewing of past matches, and a wealth of creative new weapons; such as the combat bow & katana.

As standard, the game includes a single player campaign, and all post launch content barring massive DLC expansions will be free. As far as tradition goes, this is yet another splatoon game, down to the bones. I’ve never been a fan myself, but I will absolutely be checking this one out. As should you.
